Hakob Hakobian
Hakob Tigranovich Hakobian (1923–2013) was an Armenian Soviet artist, sculptor, and politician. Born in Alexandria and deceased in Yerevan, he contributed to both the visual arts and political life in the USSR and Armenia.

Hakob Tigranovich Hakobian was born on May 24, 1923, in Alexandria. He was a notable Armenian Soviet artist who worked both as a painter and a sculptor, as well as a politician. Throughout his life, Hakobian was active in the cultural and political spheres of the USSR and Armenia. He made significant contributions to the development of the visual arts, combining his creative work with public and political activities. Hakobian’s artistic and political career reflected the cultural ties between the USSR and Armenia, the regions where he lived and worked. He passed away on March 9, 2013, in Yerevan.
