Gustav Vigeland
Gustav Vigeland (1869–1943) was a Norwegian sculptor and woodcarver, known for creating the Vigeland Sculpture Park in Oslo. Born in Halse og Harkmark, he was a productive figure in Norwegian modernist sculpture.

Adolf Gustav Vigeland was born on April 11, 1869, in Halse og Harkmark, Norway. He became a well-known Norwegian sculptor and woodcarver. Vigeland is regarded as one of Norway's most productive sculptors. His creative activity was centered during the era of modernism. One of his most significant achievements is the creation of the Vigeland Sculpture Park in Oslo, which has become a notable symbol of the city. Gustav Vigeland lived and worked in Norway and died on March 12, 1943, in Oslo. His contribution to Norwegian art is marked by the creation of unique sculptural works that continue to attract the attention of art enthusiasts today.
