Cossington Smith made a significant contribution to the development of post-impressionism in Australia, becoming a pioneer of this movement in her country. Among her well-known works is the painting "The Bridge in Curve." Her works are held in the collections of all major Australian art galleries. Grace Cossington Smith passed away on December 10, 1984, in the city of Roseville. Throughout her long life, she left a notable mark on the cultural history of Australia.
