Gladys Afamado
Gladys Afamado (1925–2024) was a Uruguayan graphic artist, sculptor, and poet. From 1954, she was a member of the Montevideo Engravers' Club, contributing to its monthly publications and almanacs. In later years, she gained recognition for her digital art.

Gladys Afamado was born on May 24, 1925, in Montevideo, Uruguay. She was a Uruguayan graphic artist, sculptor, and poet. In 1954, Gladys became a member of the Montevideo Engravers' Club, where she made significant contributions to the club's monthly publications and almanacs. Throughout her artistic career, she explored various forms of visual art, including graphic arts and sculpture. In the later years of her life, she was recognized for her work in digital art. Gladys Afamado passed away on December 29, 2024.
