Gazbia Sirry was born on October 11, 1925, in Cairo. She was an Egyptian artist who represented the cultural and national traditions of four political formations: the Kingdom of Egypt, the Republic of Egypt, the United Arab Republic, and contemporary Egypt. Among her notable works is a piece titled "The Kite." Throughout her life and career, Gazbia Sirry made a significant impact on the art of her country. She lived most of her life in Cairo, where she passed away on November 10, 2021. Her work belongs to the early 20th-century period and has influenced the development of Egyptian visual arts.
