Frantz Seimetz was born on April 21, 1858, in the town of Grevenmacher, Luxembourg. Throughout his creative life, he worked both as an artist and writer. His primary artistic direction was Impressionism, within which he created numerous portraits and landscapes. His work is connected to the cultural environment of Luxembourg.
