Fedir Krychevsky

Fedir Krychevsky (1879–1947) was a Ukrainian and Soviet painter and educator. Born in Lebedyn, he worked during the transitional period from the Russian Empire to the Soviet Union, contributing to both artistic creation and university teaching. He died in Irpin in 1947.

Biography

Fedir Hryhorovych Krychevsky was born on May 10, 1879, in the city of Lebedyn. He was a Ukrainian and Soviet painter whose creative and pedagogical activities spanned the transition from the Russian Empire to the Soviet era. In addition to his work as an artist, Krychevsky was engaged in teaching; he was a pedagogue and university instructor in the arts.
