Eugenio Cruz Vargas
Eugenio Cruz Vargas (1923–2014) was a Chilean artist, poet, and sculptor. Born in Santiago and died in Olmué, his work combined realist landscapes with abstraction in painting and reflected surrealism and literary creationism in poetry.

Eugenio Cruz Vargas was born on October 2, 1923, in Santiago, Chile. He was an artist, poet, and sculptor whose work is associated with the realism art movement. In his paintings, he combined naturalistic landscapes with elements of abstraction. His poetic works were influenced by surrealism and literary creationism. Throughout his life, he made a significant contribution to Chilean culture. Eugenio Cruz Vargas passed away on January 18, 2014, in the city of Olmué.
