Ester Šimerová-Martinčeková (1909–2005) was a Slovak painter and decorative artist known for her work in scenography and journalism. She was often regarded as the first lady of Slovak painting.

Ester Šimerová-Martinčeková was born on January 23, 1909, in Bratislava. She was a Slovak painter and decorative artist who also worked in scenography and journalism. Throughout her life, Ester was often referred to as the first lady of Slovak painting. She remained a significant figure in Slovak culture until her death on August 7, 2005, in Liptovský Mikuláš. Over her career, Ester Šimerová-Martinčeková made an important contribution to the development of Slovak visual arts, demonstrating diverse creative talents in both painting and scenography.
