Emil Nolde
Emil Nolde (August 7, 1867 – April 13, 1956) was a German expressionist painter, lithographer, and sculptor. He worked in watercolor, still life, landscape, and religious art, contributing prominently to expressionism.
Biography
Emil Nolde was born on August 7, 1867, in Burkall. He was one of the leading German expressionist artists, known for his expressive color schemes. Throughout his creative career, Nolde worked in various genres, including watercolor, still life, nudes, religious art, animal studies, and landscapes. In addition to painting, he was active as a graphic artist, lithographer, engraver, photographer, woodcut artist, sculptor, architectural draftsman, and draftsman. Emil Nolde was culturally connected to both Germany and the Kingdom of Denmark. He was associated with the movements of expressionism and degenerate art, which significantly influenced the development of 20th-century art. Emil Nolde died on April 13, 1956, in Seebüll.
