Ellsworth Kelly (1923–2015) was an American artist and sculptor born in Newburg, USA. A leading figure in minimalism and abstraction, he is known for paintings with hard edges and color fields. Kelly also worked as a designer and graphic artist.

Ellsworth Kelly was born on May 31, 1923, in Newburg, USA. Throughout his career, he established himself as an artist, sculptor, designer, draftsman, printmaker, and art figure. Kelly is one of the main representatives of minimalism, abstraction, as well as hard-edge painting and shaped canvas art. His work is characterized by the use of bright colors and clear forms, as seen in his notable pieces such as "Stele II." Ellsworth Kelly passed away on December 27, 2015, in Spencerton.
