She gained recognition as Nigeria's first female animator and is regarded as one of the pioneers of African animation. Ebele works as an independent film producer, director, designer, and multimedia artist. Since 2000, she has resided in Germany, working in Berlin and blending Nigerian and German cultural influences in her creative endeavors. With over 16 years of experience in the animation industry, she has become an influential figure within the African animation community and in poetic filmmaking.
