Drago Tršar was born on April 27, 1927, in Planina. Over his lifetime, he became known as a sculptor, ceramic artist, and university professor. His creative and professional activities were connected with regions that are today part of the Kingdom of Italy, the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and Slovenia. Throughout his life, Drago Tršar contributed to the development of the artistic culture in these areas. He passed away on April 10, 2023, in Ljubljana.
