Danh Võ, born on August 5, 1975, in Ba Ria, Vietnam, is a contemporary artist and sculptor of Vietnamese origin. He specializes in installations and sculptures. Also known as Danh Võ, his national and cultural identity encompasses Vietnam, the Kingdom of Denmark, and Mexico. Currently, Võ lives and works in Berlin and Mexico City, combining these two cultural centers in his creative practice. His work reflects a synthesis of cultural experiences from different countries, which is evident in his choice of residences and working environments, as well as in the themes and materials of his artworks.
