Christy Brown
Christy Brown (1932–1981) was an Irish writer, artist, and poet born with cerebral palsy. He wrote and painted using the toes of one foot. He is best known for his autobiography "My Left Foot," adapted into a 1989 film starring Daniel Day-Lewis.

Biography
Christy Brown was born on June 5, 1932, in Dublin, Ireland. He was a writer, artist, poet, screenwriter, and autobiographer. Born with cerebral palsy, Christy was able to write and paint only using the toes of one foot. His most well-known work is the autobiography "My Left Foot," which was adapted into a 1989 film featuring Daniel Day-Lewis in the lead role and won an Academy Award. Christy Brown passed away on September 7, 1981, in East Pennard.
