Biography

Christodoulos Panayiotou was born in 1978 in Limassol, Cyprus. He is a Cypriot artist whose practice spans a wide range of media, including sculpture, painting, installations, performance, photography, and video. Panayiotou focuses on uncovering hidden stories recorded in the visual and material sources of history and time. His artistic approach has been significantly influenced by his professional training in dance and performing arts, as well as his studies in history and theatrical anthropology. Utilizing this knowledge, he often reinterprets found materials and creates performative interventions, reflecting a profound interest in historical narratives and layers of time. According to various sources, he also works as a mosaic artist, visual arts practitioner, and performance artist.
