Christo Javacheff
Christo Javacheff (b. June 13, 1935, Gabrovo) was an American sculptor and artist of Bulgarian origin. He was known for collaborative projects with his wife Jeanne-Claude, in which they "wrapped" various objects, including the Reichstag building.

Christo Javacheff, born on June 13, 1935, in Gabrovo, Bulgaria, was an American sculptor, artist, designer, conceptual artist, and visual arts figure. He was one of the representatives of the land art movement. Javacheff became famous for his collaborative works with his wife Jeanne-Claude de Giebbson, in which they "wrapped" various objects — from a typewriter and a car to the Reichstag building and even an entire seacoast. His artistic practice included installations and conceptual art projects. Christo Javacheff passed away on May 31, 2020, in New York, USA.
