Chong Fah Cheong
Chong Fah Cheong, born in Singapore in 1946, is a sculptor known for his numerous public sculptures and is regarded as a pioneer of Singaporean sculpture. In 2014, he received the Cultural Medallion, Singapore's highest artistic honor.

Chong Fah Cheong was born in 1946 in Singapore. He is a Singaporean sculptor recognized for his numerous public sculptures throughout Singapore. He is regarded as one of the pioneers of sculpture in Singapore. His work encompasses a variety of styles ranging from abstract to figurative. He is best known for a series of figurative sculptures depicting the lives of people living and working along the Singapore River. In recognition of his contributions to the arts, Chong Fah Cheong was awarded the Cultural Medallion in 2014, which is the highest artistic honor in Singapore.
