Chingiz Akhmarov
Chingiz Akhmarov (1912–1995) was a Soviet and Uzbek monumental artist born in Troitsk. He was named People's Artist of the Uzbek SSR in 1964 and received the Stalin Prize, first class, in 1948. Akhmarov passed away in Tashkent.
Biography
Chingiz Gabdurakhmanovich Akhmarov was born on August 5, 1912, in the city of Troitsk. He represented Soviet and Uzbek artistic culture as a monumental artist. In 1948, he was awarded the Stalin Prize, first class, marking a significant recognition of his creative achievements at that time. Years later, in 1964, his contribution to art was further honored with the title of People's Artist of the Uzbek SSR. Throughout his life, Akhmarov was connected with the artistic traditions of the USSR and Uzbekistan. He worked in the portrait genre, contributing to the development of monumental art in the region. Chingiz Gabdurakhmanovich died on March 13, 1995, in Tashkent, leaving behind a memorable legacy in the history of Soviet and Uzbek art.
