Boris Nemensky

Boris Mikhailovich Nemensky (born December 24, 1922, Moscow) is a Soviet and Russian painter, educator, and professor. He is an academician of the USSR Academy of Pedagogical Sciences and the Russian Academy of Arts and was named People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1986.

Biography

Boris Mikhailovich Nemensky was born on December 24, 1922, in Moscow. He is recognized as a Soviet and Russian painter, educator, and professor. Over the course of his career, Nemensky was acknowledged as an academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR and the Russian Academy of Arts. In 1986, he was awarded the title of People's Artist of the RSFSR. He was honored with the Stalin Prize, third degree, in 1951, the State Prize of Russia in 1997, and the President of the Russian Federation Prize in the field of education in 2003. Boris Mikhailovich Nemensky is part of the cultural traditions of the USSR and Russia.
