Bogdan Borčić
Bogdan Borčić (1926–2014) was a Slovenian painter, graphic artist, and printmaker connected with several national formations. He also worked as a university professor, contributing to the education of new generations of artists.
Biography
Bogdan Borčić was born on September 26, 1926, in Ljubljana. He was a Slovenian artist specializing in painting, graphic arts, and printmaking. Throughout his life and career, he was associated with several national and cultural entities: the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes; the Kingdom of Yugoslavia; the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia; and Slovenia. In addition to his artistic work, Borčić served as a university professor, contributing to the training and education of newer generations of artists. He is recognized as one of the most productive and versatile Slovenian masters of visual art. Bogdan Borčić passed away on April 24, 2014, in the town of Slovenj Gradec.
