Beata Kurkul

Biography

Beata Kurkul was born on January 21, 1979, in Vilnius, which at that time was part of the Soviet Union. She is a Ukrainian artist and volunteer of Lithuanian-Polish descent. Alongside her artistic work, Beata also works as a physician. The core of her creative output consists of numerous images of Ukrainian border guards and military personnel involved in the Russia-Ukraine war. These works have gained wide recognition and have drawn attention to the participation of Ukrainian defenders in the conflict. Her activities span both artistic and volunteer domains, highlighting her multifaceted and socially significant role.
