Bartolomeo Altomonte
Bartolomeo Altomonte (1694–1783) was an Italian-Austrian Baroque painter. He was born in Warsaw, then part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, and worked mainly in the Archduchy of Austria. He died in Sankt Florian in 1783.

Throughout his life, Altomonte maintained cultural and national ties with both the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Archduchy of Austria. As an artist, he made his mark on 18th-century art. His creative work belongs to the Baroque period, which is reflected in his artistic style and the themes of his works. He passed away on November 11, 1783, in Sankt Florian.
