Barbara Hepworth was born on January 10, 1903, in Wakefield, United Kingdom. She became a renowned English abstract sculptor, actively working in the fields of public art and abstraction. Hepworth is associated with the Catalan Modernism movement. Beyond sculpture, she was also an artist, draughtswoman, photographer, and figure in the visual arts. Among her notable works are "Sea Form," "Elegy III," and "Conversations with Magic Stones, Figure Three." Barbara Hepworth passed away on May 20, 1975, in St Ives.
