Apolinary Horawski
Apolinary Horawski (1833–1900) was a Russian artist of Belarusian nobility, known for landscape and portrait painting. An academician of the Imperial Academy of Arts, he worked during the era of major reforms and counter-reforms in Russia.

Biography
Apolinary Giliarievich Horawski was born on February 4, 1833, in the village of Novye Naboriki. He was of Belarusian noble origin and became a significant artistic figure in the Russian Empire. Horawski specialized in landscape and portrait painting and was a follower of romantic academicism. Throughout his life, he was awarded the title of academician of the Imperial Academy of Arts. His creative work and professional activity took place during a period marked by major reforms and counter-reforms in Russia, which influenced the cultural processes of the time. He died on April 10, 1900, in Mariinskaya Hospital.
