Biography

Anthony Herman Gerard Fokker was born on April 6, 1890, in the city of Blitar. He was a Dutch aircraft designer recognized for his achievements in aviation engineering and design. Throughout his career, Fokker held multiple roles including aviation engineer, aircraft designer, entrepreneur, pilot, and military flight engineer. In addition to his technical work, he was also involved as an artist and figure in the visual arts. His cultural and national connections encompassed the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the United States, and the German Reich. Anthony Fokker passed away on December 23, 1939, in New York.
