Anh Do

Biography

Anh Do was born on June 2, 1977, in Vietnam. He is an Australian author, actor, comedian, and artist. He studied a combined Business and Law program at the University of Technology Sydney. Anh has appeared on Australian television shows such as Thank God You're Here and Good News Week, and was the runner-up on Dancing with the Stars in 2007. He is the brother of filmmaker Khoa Do and has acted in several of his films, including Footy Legends, which he also co-wrote and produced. In 2012, his television show Anh Does Vietnam began airing. Over his career, Anh has been a four-time finalist for the Archibald Prize and won the People's Choice Award in 2017. From 2016 to 2021, he hosted the television program Anh's Brush with Fame on ABC TV, where he simultaneously interviewed and painted portraits of well-known Australians.
