Angkarn Kalayanapong
Angkarn Kalayanapong (1926–2012) was a Thai poet, artist, and writer. He received the SEATO Literary Prize in 1986 and was named National Artist of Thailand in 1989. His work significantly contributed to Thai culture and art.
Biography
Angkarn Kalayanapong was born on February 13, 1926, in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand. He was known as a poet, artist, and writer who made a significant contribution to the culture of his country. In 1986, Kalayanapong was awarded the SEATO Literary Prize for his achievements in the field of poetry. Three years later, in 1989, he was granted the title of National Artist of Thailand, confirming his authority in artistic circles. Angkarn Kalayanapong passed away on August 25, 2012, in Watthana, leaving behind a rich creative legacy that reflects the cultural traditions of Thailand and represents an important contribution to national art.
