Alice Miller
Alice Miller (1923–2010) was a Polish-Swiss psychologist, psychoanalyst, and philosopher of Jewish origin, known for her work on child abuse. She was also a sociologist, essayist, psychotherapist, writer, and artist.
Biography
Alice Miller was born on January 12, 1923, in Lviv. She was a Polish-Swiss psychologist, psychoanalyst, and philosopher of Jewish origin. Throughout her life, Miller researched and wrote extensively on the subject of child abuse. In addition to her primary work, she was active as a sociologist, essayist, psychotherapist, writer, and artist. Over the course of her professional career, Alice Miller contributed to the advancement of psychological science in France, Switzerland, and Poland. She passed away on April 14, 2010, in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
