Alexei Eriomin
Alexei Grigoryevich Eriomin (1919–1998) was a Soviet and Russian painter known for his realist landscapes. Born in Velikaya Guba, he became a People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1978 and was a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists.
Biography
Alexei Grigoryevich Eriomin was born on March 17, 1919, in Velikaya Guba. He became a prominent Soviet and Russian painter working primarily in the landscape genre and adhering to the realism style. In 1978, Eriomin was awarded the title of People's Artist of the RSFSR. Throughout his life, he was a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists. Alexei Grigoryevich lived and worked during the periods of the USSR and Russia. He passed away on June 12, 1998, in Saint Petersburg. His contribution to the artistic culture is reflected in numerous paintings created according to realism traditions.
