Alexander Beggrov
Alexander Karlovich Beggrov (1841–1914) was a Russian painter and watercolorist of German descent, son of the lithographer Karl Beggrov. He specialized in marine art, working within the academic school and close to realism. Beggrov was an academician and honorary member of the Imperial Academy of Arts.

Alexander Karlovich Beggrov was born on December 17, 1841, in Saint Petersburg. He was the son of the lithographer Karl Beggrov and had German ancestry. Alexander Beggrov became a Russian painter and watercolorist, specializing in the marine genre. His work followed the academic school and was closely aligned with realism. For his contributions to art, he was awarded the title of academician and became an honorary member of the Imperial Academy of Arts. Additionally, he was a member of the Society for Traveling Art Exhibitions. Alexander Karlovich Beggrov passed away on April 14, 1914, in Gatchina.
