Ales Pushkin, full name Alexander Nikolayevich Pushkin, was born on August 6, 1965, in the city of Bobr. He was a significant figure in Belarusian art, recognized as a nonconformist painter, theatrical artist, performer, and art curator. Throughout his life, Pushkin actively worked in genres including mural painting, portraiture, and performance, combining various forms of artistic expression. Beyond his creative pursuits, he was also a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists, confirming his professional standing within the country's artistic community. Alexander Nikolayevich was known not only as an artist but also as a curator, stage designer, and caretaker of artworks. His work held a place within the cultural contexts of both the USSR and contemporary Belarus. Pushkin passed away on July 11, 2023, in prison No. 1.
