Alenka Gerlovič
Alenka Gerlovič (September 17, 1919 – December 9, 2010) was a Yugoslav Slovenian artist, puppeteer, stage designer, journalist, partisan, art teacher, and image maker associated with the regions of present-day Slovenia and its former states.
Biography
Alenka Gerlovič was born on September 17, 1919, in Ljubljana. She was a prominent Yugoslav Slovenian artist, puppeteer, stage designer, and journalist. Beyond these roles, Alenka was also a partisan and an art teacher, as well as working as an image maker. Her life and creative activity were connected with the territories of present-day Slovenia and the states to which Slovenia belonged, including the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, and the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Alenka Gerlovič passed away on December 9, 2010, in Ljubljana.
