Aleksandr Lvovich Lebedev-Frontov was born on August 26, 1960, in Saint Petersburg. He was a Russian graphic artist and avant-garde musician, acknowledged as one of the pioneers of the noise/industrial music genre in Russia. Throughout his life, Lebedev-Frontov actively worked in both visual arts and music, combining his creative pursuits as an artist and musician. His activities were connected to the cultural spheres of the USSR and later Russia. Aleksandr Lvovich passed away on January 8, 2022. His work continues to influence the contemporary art and music fields in the country.
