He is also known as a comic book author and illustrator. Among his notable works are "The Incal," "Dune," "The Holy Mountain," and "The Saga of the Meta-Barons." He is an explorer of tarot and a spiritualist who embraces New Age and Zen currents. Since the late 1990s, he has focused on developing a psychotherapeutic method called "psychomagic," aimed at healing early psychological wounds. Beyond these roles, he has engaged in puppeteering, sculpture, essay writing, philosophy, poetry, theater directing, screenwriting, and film editing.
