Adam Szentpétery was born on February 24, 1956, in Rožňava, Slovakia. He is an artist and educator actively working in the field of abstract painting. Szentpétery holds the position of head of department and professor of the Studio of Contemporary Image at the Faculty of Arts of the Technical University in Košice. His works are characterized by a strong geometric organization of canvases, executed in an original style with an intense yet refined color palette. Adam Szentpétery is recognized within the Slovak art community and contributes to the development of contemporary fine arts through both teaching and creative activity.
